When I was doing my makeup this morning, I realised that there were certain products in my routine that haven't changed for a while because I just haven't found any other products that rise above my expectations after using the products shown above. The first of the few is my favourite foundation at the moment, which is the MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation. I have already wrote a more detailed review of this foundation here, so if your interested in finding out why it is one of the best high end foundations on the market then I would love it if you checked it out after you have read this post of course.

The next product is the most raved about high street concealer which is Collection's Lasting Perfectiom Concealer. I will hopefully be writing a full review on this product some time in the near future, so make sure you keep an eye out. Whenever I'm looking for a new concealer I always keep running back to this one because for the price of it, it has amazing coverage and is long wearing, so pretty much doesn't budge for a good few hours. The only thing that sort of let's this product down, even though it's not the product itself, is the packaging as the black print always seems to rub off onto your hands no matter how careful you are.

Since I received them as a gift from my parents for Christmas, I have been obsessed with the bareMinerals marvelous MOXIE lip glosses, especially in the shades Rebel and Daredevil. They both go with pretty much any makeup look that I have depending on whether I have a subtle eye or a dramatic, smoky one. They also smell delightful and I love the tingly effect it has in your lips once you've applied it. As for the wearability, in all honesty, they don't last as long as I would have liked them to, but I don't mind reallpying them to have that tingly effect on my lips again.

If you've seen my post about the growing obsession I have with all things Laura Geller, then you will know about my love for her baked blushes, especially this one at the moment, which is in the shade Cassis Violet. In general I love all of my baked blushes but theres something that has drawn me to this specific shade every time I do my makeup. Maybe its because of the transition between Winter and Spring because its not too pink and still has hints of deeper purples and rosey colours that I generally wear in the Autumn and Winter months.

As for the MAC palette, I received this from my auntie as a birthday present last year alongside getting treated to a makeover from a MAC makeup artist and a new lipstick and false eyelashes that she used on my face that day. All of the shades featured in this palette were also used on my eyes as I asked for a gold, sun kissed smoky eye, and the results were amazing. To this day I have still been trying to recreate that look, and I have created something which is more subtle that also works on an everyday basis, and with pretty much every outfit I wear. This little eye routine of mine using this palette and my Revlon PHOTOREADY in 501 Metropolitan has stuck to me for a long time, so maybe its time to start experimenting with other looks and shades.
