Monthly Favourites: September 2015

With the new season slowly making a return and Summer sadly leaving us for now, I have been obsessed with a lot of new things. Autumn is my favourite season of the year, so you can imagine how excited I am that its almost here. Maybe it's the cosy jumpers, plaid shirts, and brand spanking new ankle boots, or it might possibly just be the warm nights in watching all your favourite Halloween films, and how can I forget the excitement leading up to Christmas which gets me extremely hyped too. Not to mention all the new drinks at Starbucks and Costa which get brought out this time every year. So to help me prepare for whats ahead, I've gathered up a few of my Autumn favourites to ramble on about.

Black Ankle Boots
I got the exact boots that are above when I was doing my back to college shopping and I can't get them off my feet. They are the most comfortable ankle boots that I have ever worn and for just over £20, that is pretty darn good. I created the image above a couple of days ago and unfortunately, I don't think they are in store anymore as I've been looking on the New Look website for ages now, but whilst I was looking I saw a few others that looked similar if you've already taken a liking to them. They sort of remind me of combat boots, which I love, but they obviously have a bigger heel and are a suede material. I wear them with absolutely everything and will definitely be one of my Autumn essentials this year.

Plaid Shirts
If I haven't made it clear already, I absolutely love plaid shirts and take full advantage of them at this time of the year, which is the perfect time to wear them. The one pictured above is also the exact one that I bought from New Look when shopping for new college clothes. It's my favourite one in my wardrobe because its loose fitted and not as structured as my others, its much more comfortable. I prefer wearing it with my black disco pants and the boots above, which has been an outfit I have repeated several times at college. Seriously, people are going to start to think that I have no other clothes. I also apologise for also not being able to find the shirt online (I'm the worst fashion blogger in the world) but New Look sell loads of pieces in this pattern and most of the shirts look very similar.

Carrie Underwood
Yes, I'm still listing to a LOT of country and I'm still freaking loving it. I've been listening to a few Carrie Underwood songs in particular... (this might be a little bit of a white lie). I've probably listened to every song she has released enough times for all the lyrics to automatically save themselves into my brain. I have no idea what I did in my history class last week because All American Girl has replaced all those facts I once knew about Nazi Germany.

Fifth Harmony
When I'm not listening to Carrie Underwood, I'm listening to everything Fifth Harmony has to offer. Their songs are so upbeat and motivational, which makes them the perfect choice for working out. In all honesty, exercise is not something I am familiar with myself, so instead, I just have Fifth Harmony on any time of the day. A few other artists that I've also been listening to this month have been The Icarus Account, Britt Nicole, Alex Goot, Sam Tsui and Sia.

Full House
Oh man, I don't have enough space to tell you all about how much I love this show. I just wish I had watched it earlier because its now become one of my all time favourite shows. I couldn't possibly pick a favourite member of the family because they all bring something different to the table and it would be hard to picture the show without each and every one of them. For those who have already seen Full House, then you will understand how hard it is to get 'Have Mercy' and 'How Rude' out of your daily vocabulary.
