Reasons Why Autumn is My Favourite Season

I was talking to my brother yesterday about the fact that I am so excited its nearly Autumn because it's my absolute favourite season, but then he made a little joke that I always say that about every season, which then gave me the idea to do a blog post about the reasons why I love Autumn, and why it beats all the others. He was right though, when I was little, I would say that about every season. Probably because I get so excited over the littlest thing, especially a new season change, but for the past few years I have been pretty adamant that Autumn in my favourite and here are my reasons why.

1. It is the perfect in between season because it's not too cold like Winter and not too hot like Summer. It's just right!

2. There is so much excitement leading up to Halloween, Bonfire Night, Christmas and New Years, which lets be real, are the best holidays.

3. Costa and Starbucks bring out their signature Autumn drinks again. Oooh and don't forget the Autumn themed cakes and cookies.

4. Jumpers, tartan and warm, fuzzy boots. Enough said!

5. It is the best time of the year to listen to all of your country favs.

6. There is a brand new scenery outside filled with all sorts of Autumnal colours.

7. Also, come on now, doesn't the word Autumn just sound so lovely?

8. Pumpkin carving. Admit it, you cant wait to stick your hands in some pumpkin guts.

9. Being able to use the 'it's too cold outside' or 'its raining' excuse to stay in bed all weekend with a hot chocolate, a candle burning and binge watching all your favourite Halloween films.

10. It's cliche, but taking walks in the crisp fresh air with fallen leaves crunching at your feet.
