Rimmel London Haul

A couple of weeks ago Superdrug where having a 3 for 2 deal across all cosmetics and brands, and it wasn't long before I pulled out my credit card and started surfing the site. In the end I decided to go for a few Rimmel products that I had my eye on. I waited until I felt like I properly tried out all the products before I wrote a post on them, but I only wish that I took the photos when they were still sparkly new because they don't look as clean and nice as they used to, but hey, thats the true life of a beauty blogger am I right?

I absolutely love the lipstick and its definitely my favourite out of the three. I've had so many compliments when I wear it and just feel so glam when I put it on. The fruity scent is absolutely divine and for some reason, it reminds me of a wine scent which compliments the beautiful plum shade perfectly. The pigmentation is absolutely fantastic and has really good staying power. I'm really intrigued to try out some more of the Kate Moss lipsticks and already have my eye on shade 101 which is a soft pink colour.

I also really love the foundation and since I was in desperate need for a new one, it was the perfect rescue. The foundation is full coverage which I absolutely love at this time of the year as I tend to go for more heavier foundations in the winter rather than light BB creams which are used only in the hotter summer months. After blending it in, my skin is left looking really luminous so I always make sure that I powder well so that it doesn't get mixed up with looking too oily, but once I have some powder on, it really does look so lovely on the skin. They make a very big statement on the packaging, claiming that it lasts for '25 hours' and I'm not saying that I completely believe it, but it certainly lasts one heck of a long time. Plus, who would wear their foundation for 25 hours anyway? When I went to my best friends house last night, she pointed out that my foundation still looked great and didn't look like it budged once, which was absolutely incredible to hear considering I had a long day at college before I went to hers.

As for the concealer, I wasn't completely struck by this and have definitely used better ones in the past. Maybe its just my high expectations from using Collection's Lasting Perfection for so long because that is my all time favourite, but it just didn't impress me as much as I hoped. There isn't enough coverage as far as I'm concerned and it also doesn't last long before I have to top it up. I also hate using this concealer to top up because I always feel like it rubs on the makeup that I already have on, so I would definitely prefer if it had a creamier consistency just so that it would glide on a lot smoother.
