Visiting the Family

On Thursday, I spent the day visiting my family before Christmas as I hadn't seen some of them since I left for University in September. It was so nice to see everyone and catch up on what they had been up to. Christmas is such a good time to do this because its the time when everyone comes home.
My uncle came round to my house on Wednesday morning and so when we dropped him off back home, we had a little look at his Christmas decorations before we left. I loved how traditional his decorations were. One of my favourites was definitely the Victorian inspired street lamps, which are pictured below.
After that, we then went to my great great Auntie and Uncles house to drop off their card that I wrote them. I used to visit them every other Sunday when I was at home, its so weird not doing that anymore, but I'm definitely going to make sure I pay them another visit before I leave for term two. After that, we went to my Nana and Grandad's house as my other uncle had just come home as he works away in the RAF. I was so excited to see him because it felt like forever ago that I last saw him home.
We spent a few hours there, however I didn't get any photos as she didn't have many decorations up, but then once we left, it was then time to visit my other Nana and Grandad. I was so excited to see their decorations because I love how they decorate the house every year and its also the house that the whole family spend Christmas Day, so its nice to see how it all looks before everyones there.
